The brace supports the thumb as the joint instability. By sprain of the ligament
The tires in the brace catch as it were, the clearance by the damaged tire.
The brace also provides protection against knocks.
The uninvolved joints of the thumb remain free and the bands are adjustable so that the thumb can simply function.
The wrist is free in its movements, making this product ideal tijdsen sports.
Indication:
Called Skiduim (MCP 1), if there is a residual instability (play)
as a result of an injury to the inner side of the thumb joint.
The brace is specially developed for the joint in the thumb base (also called MCP I)
Contraindication:
The brace does not support the thumb joint at the carpal
(CMC I) and is therefore not suitable for joint inflammation
(Eg rheumatoid arthritis), tendon sheath inflammation (M-Quervain) or osteoarthritis.
